Tetzlaff Advanced Band & Colorguard Camp Details!!

All advanced band and colorguard students entering the 2023-24 school year will be participating in a camp BEFORE school begins to prepare for our upcoming competition season! 

At the camp students will work with professional coaches on their instrument, learn the basics of marching, and play games to make new friends before the school year begins.

Band camp runs from 9AM- 12PM at Leal Elementary School July 31- August 4th, AND August 7th-9th. 

Students should bring:
- Instrument (if you have one)
- Athletic clothing
- Closed toed athletic shoes
- WATER
- A hat
- Sunscreen
- a Towel (colorguard only for stretching)


Tetzlaff Honor Band Students

Our Tetzlaff Trojans had a tremendous showing at the 2023 ABC Honor Band Auditions with 26 students making the honor band representing over 1/3 of the total ensemble!!

Tetzlaff Receives "Schools To Watch" Recognition In Washington DC

Tetzlaff Accelerated Learning Academy was recognized at the annual "Schools To Watch" conference in Washington DC this summer as a 2014 School To Watch Recipient!!  A team from our school and our Superintendent Dr. Mary Seiu were attendance at the event.  The team met with our area congresswoman and presented about our Pre-AP curriculum to the conference attendees as well.  All of us at Tetzlaff Accelerated Learning Academy are extremely proud of the hard work of all of our students to help us become one of the best schools in California!!
