Mr. Matthew Gullett- Music Teacher
Mr. Gullett is in his 10th year as the music teacher at Tetzlaff Middle School. In addition to serving as the music teacher at Tetzlaff, Mr. Gullett is also an elementary band teacher for Leal elementary, and works as a Visual and Assistant Director for the Gahr High School Marching Gladiators who won the SCJA State Grand Championships the past 6 years. He has previously served as a band teacher at Fedde Middle School and Niemes Elementary School as well as being the Assistant Director of the Long Beach State Pep Band and the visual caption head for the City Sound Drum and Bugle Corps. In his 5 years at Tetzlaff, Mr. Gullett has continued the rich tradition of success both in parade competitions and festival results with the advanced band winning numerous awards throughout his tenure. This year, he looks forward to continued success in our performing arts as they continue to grow and develop at Tetzlaff Accelerated Learning Academy!!
Mr. Gullett holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from CSU Long Beach, where he studied tuba with studio musician John Van Houten, and has studied with David Holben. He graduated Cum Laude as an undergraduate student and received numerous presidents awards for high achievement in academics. Mr. Gullett holds membership in Southern California Band and Orchestra Association, California Music Educators Association and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia music fraternity.

Mr. Hector Brambilla- Colorguard Instructor
HECTOR BRAMBILA has been involved in the performing arts since 2003. His love for music and art started at a young age and was fully realized under the guidance of an inspiring music director at Norwalk High School in Norwalk, CA. He went on to perform with such groups as Genesis Ensemble Winterguard, SoCal Dream Drum & Bugle Corps, Lealta Winterguard, Diamante Winterguard, and Fantasia Winter Guard.
Hector has been teaching color guard throughout South Los Angeles and Orange County since 2008, coaching students from all ages, levels and skill sets. Aside from teaching color guard at Canyon High School, El Modena High School and Bellflower Middle School, he is also one of the Founders and Creative Directors at Emerald Independent Winterguard, a nationally competitive adult color guard based in Orange County.

Mr. Michael Raymundo- Drum Major Instructor
Mr. Raymundo studied Music Education at CSU Long Beach with an emphasis in euphonium. Mr. Raymundo has been serving as the Assistant Band Director for the Tetzlaff band program since 2013. In that time he has been helping teach music, visual for marching band, and serving as our Drum Major Instructor.
In addition to teaching at Tetzlaff, he has also taught as a visual coach with Gahr, Millikan and Laguna Beach High Schools, is currently the drumline coach at Fedde Middle School, and and has performed with the CSULB Pep Band, Symphonic Band and Concert Bands.

Mr. Patrick Sales- Musical Theater Director
Mr. Sales is passionate about show production and the performing arts. He strives to inspire students that are interested in the arts to continue to pursue their talents long after I am their teacher. The ultimate goal is to create a safe environment for students to express themselves without fear of judgement and be part of the creative community. His background includes years as an elementary school and middle school teacher, camp director, musical theater director, theatrical actor, and creative director.
